We just scored a huge victory for public safety here in Illinois.

The Governor recently signed the bill that my office championed into law, requiring every police department in our state to use the ATF’s eTrace system to track illegal guns.

This means every firearm recovered in connection with a crime will be better traced, traffickers will be easier to catch, and our communities will be safer.

And if opponents try to find ways to roll this law back, my office will be there at every turn to protect and enforce it.
