Hi John,

We've been busy pounding the pavement, knocking on doors and talking to our neighbors about how our government can help them. My shoes are worn, my feet are tired, and my throat is sore, but I don't care.

Because the only way I can be the representative you deserve is to talk to as many of you as I can.

Here's a taste of what we've been up to on the trail:

Recently, I was joined by Del. Dan Helmer to knock on doors with our fantastic volunteers. We're knocking 400+ doors a week and having great conversations! A huge thank you to Amanda Pohl, Chesterfield Clerk of Court, for hosting our launch.

I also visited the apprenticeship school for the Plumber and Steamfitters Local 10, reaffirming my commitment to stand for our workers by repealing ”right to work,” increasing protections and pay, and increasing the visibility of apprenticeship programs like these.

And my mom and I had an amazing time with the Chesterfield County Democratic Committee celebrating our Chesterfield champion, Mark Warner, and auctioning off some beautifully painted pumpkins!

With only a few days until Early Vote begins, we’re out and about! I hope that I knock on your door or see you at an event, but if I don't, you can still reach out and let me know at [email protected] how we can make government work better for you once we reach Richmond.
