Fairfield, Five Adjacent Counties Approved for Low-Interest Disaster Loans
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that the Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved his request for a disaster declaration for flooding that impacted Fairfield County from July 26 through 28.
This declaration makes low-interest loans available to impacted homes and businesses that sustained uninsured losses of 40% or more of the estimated fair replacement value. Fairfield County and the contiguous counties of Franklin, Hocking, Licking, Perry, and Pickaway are eligible to apply for Business Physical Disaster Loans, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and Home Disaster Loans.
The application filing deadline for physical damage will be Nov. 12, 2025, and for economic damage, the deadline is June 12, 2026.
