Friend — In just a few short weeks, 10 candidates will take the stage for CNN's Climate Crisis Presidential Town Hall. Climate change is the defining issue of our time — and this will be the best chance yet for voters to hear where the participating candidates stand.

For a short time, CNN is accepting input on what questions the moderators will ask Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O'Rourke, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Andrew Yang. So we're polling LCV members, including you, friend. Of the four questions below, which do you most want to hear discussed at the CNN Climate Crisis Town Hall?

Will the climate crisis be one of your top priorities?

Will you commit to 100% clean energy no later than 2050?

Will you pursue the most just, equitable economic transition to clean energy?

Will you commit the U.S. to exceed our current goals under the Paris Climate Agreement?

Click the question that you want CNN to ask and you will be taken to a page to petition CNN to ask your question.

Most of the candidates have already made climate change a major part of their platforms — and many have already released comprehensive climate action plans. But now, with an entire evening devoted to the climate crisis, each candidate must show a deep commitment to equitably addressing climate change and a thorough understanding of the specific challenges it creates. In order for us to ensure that CNN asks the best climate questions, they need to hear from you.

After you submit your question, tune in on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 6 PM ET on CNN to see if your question is chosen.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback to CNN today!
