I’m Chris Bolling, the new Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Virginia. And today, I want to talk about the future – because in just seven weeks, Virginians have a chance to build something extraordinary.
If we win a Democratic trifecta this November, the opportunities are limitless. We can finally move Virginia forward with an agenda rooted in protecting our freedoms, growing our economy, and investing in our communities – not rolling them back like MAGA Republicans want.
And the way we get there is through our coordinated campaign: Operation Virginia Victory.
This is the largest, most ambitious effort in our Party’s history – and it’s already putting organizers, volunteers, and resources into every corner of the Commonwealth. Operation Virginia Victory is how we’ll defend our Assembly majority, lift Abigail Spanberger at the top of the ticket, and create the kind of grassroots wave that flips the Governor’s mansion.
With a Democratic trifecta, powered by Operation Virginia Victory, we can:
Protect and expand abortion and reproductive healthcare, ensuring Virginia remains a safe haven for choice.
Defend our democracy by safeguarding voting rights and pushing back against Trump’s chaos in Washington.
Invest in public education, clean energy, and good-paying jobs – instead of caving to Republican cuts that hurt working families.
Virginia can be the firewall against extremism and the launchpad for progress. But to seize this moment, we need to out-organize and out-communicate the GOP in every community, from Fairfax to Norfolk to Roanoke.
Elections here are close – sometimes decided by just hundreds of votes. Every dollar raised between now and Election Day translates into field organizers on the ground, digital ads reaching swing voters, and volunteers knocking doors in communities that will decide our future.
We’ve beaten MAGA extremism before. We can do it again. And this time, we can do more than just hold the line – we can win the power to govern boldly.
