Dear SPUC supporter

Once again, SPUC supporters have shown that they have never abandon unborn babies or vulnerable adults in need.

Together, we have raised an extraordinary £182k during our summer campaign!

I am profoundly grateful for your support.

This was our most ambitious fundraising campaign yet.

Never before have we had to fight major abortion legislation and a major assisted suicide Bill at exactly the same time. Our £250k target reflected the scale of the task ahead of us.

While we haven’t raised full amount in this campaign, I am delighted to report that the most urgent elements – including the House of Lords Campaign – are now fully funded.

Your donations are already at work making this titanic lobbying effort possible.

Our team is working round the clock to make sure that peers reject:
  1. The Leadbeater Assisted Suicide Bill, which authorises doctors to kill terminally ill patients.
  2. An amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill which decriminalises abortion up to the moment of birth.
Your gifts are also helping us prepare for the steps we must take after this debate is over.

Win or lose, we must push on to build a new pro-life consensus in Britain, and secure the pro-life majority in the House of Commons.

This is the only way of ending the threat of abortion and assisted suicide forever.

May God reward you for your generosity,
John Deighan
Chief Executive
