Join our Ride Along to a Giants Game with SFTR and the SF Hoo Lee Gans |
|
|
Join San Francisco Transit Riders and the SF Hoo Lee Gans for a ride along to the September 23rd Giants vs. Cardinals Game! SFTR's Outreach and Organizing Manager, Jaime, wrote more about this event in a blog you can read here: We will be partnering with the SF Hoo Lee Gans, a grass-roots fan club that grew out of their common love of SF Giants baseball and the team’s newest centerfielder — and Korean Baseball Org (KBO) League’s star — Jung Hoo Lee! Getting to a ballgame on public transportation is very convenient, efficient, and cheap! We are lucky to have the transit systems that we have to serve the ballpark; there’s nothing like it!
It is important that we continue investing in these systems, and for Transit Month- let’s be inspired by Seoul, South Korea, where they invested in their transit system and continue to be ambitious in their expansion.
This is a double-membership opportunity! We're partnering with the SF Hoo Lee Gans to provide an exclusive deal for SFTR members. Each ticket gets you both access to the 9/23 game and a membership with the SF Hoo Lee Gans! SF Hoo Lee Gan memberships get you access to discounted Giants tickets, members-only events, a fire wig, and a Hoo Lee Gan shirt. *EVERY TICKET COMES WITH A COMPLIMENTARY TRANSIT MONTH 2025 CLIPPER CARD!*
Event Details Tuesday, September 23, 2025
Ride along from UN Plaza (355 McAllister St, San Francisco, CA 94102) Meet-up at: 5:30 pm Giants Game starts at: 6:45 pm |

Calling all 29 Sunset riders! |
|
|
The SFMTA is currently working on Phase Two of its 29 Sunset Improvement Project. Phase Two focuses on enhancing the southern section of the Muni bus route, from Junipero Serra Boulevard and Holloway Avenue to the Bayview neighborhood. This project aims to improve the 29 Sunset’s reliability, travel times, capacity, accessibility, and safety. Many of the proposed changes were recommended by SFTR's own members and our working group.
After reviewing the project proposal, please share your feedback through this survey by Monday, September 15. |

| Rider First Awards Friday, October 10 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join San Francisco Transit Riders and Seamless Bay Area on October 10th to close out Transit Month by celebrating some of the people who have gone above and beyond to improve transit in the past year. We'll honor bus operators, transit planners, and advocates alike who help us build a more equitable, growing, and accessible public transit system and culture for all. The Rider First Awards cap off a month of events, rallies, and our Ride Contest. It's also where we'll be announcing our various Ride Contest winners and handing out prizes. We'll have fun activities, special guest speakers, and light food and refreshments. Come celebrate with us!
