New Speaker Announcement: Rep. Scott Peters
We're excited to announce that Representative Scott Peters, a card-carrying New Liberal will be at NLAS this year! Representative Peters previously joined us at our first New Liberal Action Summit in 2022, as well as NLAS West and NLAS DC in 2023.
As Co-chair of the Bipartisan Fiscal Forum and a member of the House Committee on the Budget, he will be speaking on our panel to discuss how Democrats can implement a new and impactful agenda in a time of rapidly shrinking fiscal space, and what changes must be made to prevent a fiscal crisis that is beginning to spiral out of control.
