BREAKING: National broadcasters in Slovenia, Ireland, Spain and the Netherlands all just vowed to boycott the Eurovision 2026 Song Contest if Israel participates. This is HUGE!

Fearing a major boycott, Eurovision organisers just asked the Israeli national broadcaster to consider withdrawing from the contest or participating under a neutral flag. 

While Israel has bombed, starved, and maimed tens of thousands of Palestinians, its using Eurovision to whitewash the genocide on the global stage.

But there's lots of Eurovision broadcasters staying quiet, hoping the campaign to suspend Israel will blow over. That's why we have to act fast and pile the pressure on now.

Earlier this summer, dozens of broadcasters met behind closed doors in London to address the growing backlash over Israel’s participation, and were set to vote on its future. But the vote was pulled at the last minute, following pleas from Israel and a plea from the BBC to keep the talks going.

But its clear that national broadcasters have had enough.

Israel has obliterated schools, hospitals, and the homes of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. And has sent the military to seize control of Gaza City.

There is no place for Israel in the Eurovision song contest.

There’s already support for a suspension among broadcasters. Both Iceland’s RUV and Slovenia’s RTVSLO network said they would back an Israel ban. Now we just need one last push on the BBC, and other TV networks to follow suit.

Suspending Israel would send a powerful signal to the Israeli government that the world will not be silent in the face of the atrocities in Gaza. And it could propel other international bodies to take action - like UEFA, FIFA and the International Olympic Committee.
