Friend,

On September 8, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump Administration to continue its racist attacks against Latinos in Los Angeles.

The stakes are high. This decision gives a green light to lawless, racialized violence, terrorizing immigrant workers, their families, and anyone who “fits the description.” It threatens to expand to other communities across the country if left unchecked.

We believe no one should be targeted for who they are, what they look like, or the work they do. We value the Constitution, immigrants, and workers whose labor sustains our communities and economy. We must act now to defend the Fourth Amendment and the rights of all people.

The National Day Laborer Organizing Network has multiple ways you can stand in solidarity and resistance THIS WEEK:

  1. Host or attend a rally or vigil demanding that the courts protect the Fourth Amendment on September 18th. Sign up to host or participate here.

    • Check out the accompanying Toolkit for hosting a rally here.

  2. Click to Adopt a Day Labor Corner here. For more information please reach out to [email protected].

  3. Check out the calendar for upcoming workshops with NDLON here to access the calendar.

  4. Spread the word about NDLON's national hotline for U.S. citizen victims of racial profiling: 626-214-8436. You can call for help and information if you are stopped or seized in the ICE free-for-all. You can also access online submission form here.
  5. Read the FAQ About the SCOTUS decision here.

In Solidarity,
