True Texan,
What does it mean to be a True Texan?
It is a question we take seriously because being a True Texan is about more than where you live; it’s about carrying on a legacy. It means understanding the sacrifices of those who came before us, protecting the freedoms they fought for, and passing those values on to the next generation.
For the last 16 years, True Texas Education has been working to answer that question through teaching and preserving the lessons of history, civics, and the Constitution.
Sadly, schools are falling short, but we are picking up the slack to ensure these lessons aren’t lost.
