Hi- Across the country, millions of students are walking into classrooms carrying fear instead of backpacks filled with possibility. Kids are focusing on lockdown drills instead of recess. Bulletproof backpacks instead of binders. And already we're seeing increased gun violence on school grounds, including a fatal school shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, where a shooter armed with an assault rifle killed two young kids and wounded 21 others—mostly children. Our kids don't deserve this type of childhood, and it's why Everytown is doing all that we can to prevent another tragedy from happening.
