17th Annual Douglass-Debs Dinner
|
You're invited to our annual gathering of Metro Atlanta’s progressive community on Saturday, September 20. Enjoy a festive evening of comradeship to honor inspiring local leaders and raise funds to support our progressive advocacy, work with labor unions, and community organizing across Atlanta.
Our speaker this year will be Hamilton Nolan, labor journalist and author of The Hammer (2024) whose Substack How Things Work has over 35,000 followers interested in labor and politics. We will also be honoring Yolanda Jacobs, president of AFGE Local 2883, who represents over 2,000 CDC federal government workers across the United States, as well as members of Teamsters Local 728 in their campaign to organize Amazon workers here in Atlanta.
Doors Open at 6PM. Dinner and programming begin at 7PM. We hope to see you there!

Make sure you are registered TO VOTE!
|
Nearly 471,000 Georgians were just purged from voter rolls.
Voters removed by Georgia’s “Use it or Lose it” law can re-register, but voters must still register at least 29 days before Election Day.
The sooner you register, the better!
