We will be closing our petition shortly and handing it in to Natural England. Help us urge them to revoke licences to remove peregrine falcons from their nests for use in falconry. In response to news of a generous bailout grant to dairy farmers Animal Aid co-ordinated an open letter from organisations, academics and high-profile people to the government, which urged them to support a transition to plant-based agriculture. We also launched an online action.

More than 4,400 people have added their names to our open letter which calls for a ban on warfare experiments on animals. Imprisoned in a metal box

Can you imagine being stuck in a metal box whilst temperatures soared, with no means of escape? That is what thousands of breeding pheasants and partridges are forced to endure. We have recorded temperatures in those cages of more than 41℃.

We must urgently bring an end to the use of these metal cages. Please sign and share our petition and ask everyone you know to sign it.

The horse racing industry treats horses as mere objects – which includes hitting them with the whip for ‘encouragement’. A ban on the whip won’t stop racing, but it will make an immediate difference to the horses who are being abused.
