Charlie Kirk -- Champion of Free Speech & Civil Discourse
Being American means having the freedom to speak, debate, and engage in civil discourse. Charlie Kirk did that.
Charlie’s tragic murder while speaking with students is a wake-up call for all of us.
I lived through the Cultural Revolution. I experienced and understand how political rhetoric inspired violence to be carried out by Mao’s Red Guards, mostly young students, which ultimately led to the deaths of 20 million people.
Mao's propaganda was emotional and was used to brainwash youth to turn them against Mao's political enemies so he could regain political power. His tactic was to create divisions and hatred between the so-called oppressed against their oppressors, mostly people just next door.
We must stop the radicalization of our youth by biased grievance studies, divisive media, and by politicians demonizing those they disagree with.
It is time to bring us back together.
E pluribus unum!
May God bless Charlie’s family and USA!
