Dear Friend,
After hearing from PETA supporters like you, Lilly Lashes stopped claiming that the mink lashes it sells are "cruelty-free." But instead of making an actual difference for animals by removing fur entirely, it continues to peddle these lashes and even labels some of them as "vegan." And lash company Velour even markets fur eyelashes as "ethically sourced."
Lilly Lashes and Velour know how minks suffer and die on fur farms, but instead of selling only luxurious animal-free eyelashes, they continue to mislead customers about the violence behind mink ones.
These brands know that fur is typically taken from shy, solitary minks who are raised on fur farms and often go insane from the extreme stress of being confined to cramped wire cages encrusted with feces. Infection and gaping wounds often go untreated. At the end of their sad lives, they're gassed or electrocuted or their necks are broken.
Numerous beauty brands—including Tarte, e.l.f., and wet n wild—create beautiful false eyelashes without hurting animals. Please urge Lilly Lashes and Velour to drop fur lashes immediately!
Thank you for your compassion for animals.
Sincerely,
 |
