This is Lisa Collis, Mark’s wife of 36 years. Here is a photo of us on our wedding day, as proof.

When I married Mark, all those years ago, I never imagined how many election nights we would spend together watching vote results roll in. He lost the first one, and won the rest, but that includes 2014, where he won by a razor thin margin of less than 1%.

And, here we are again, another election, but an election that feels so much more consequential. November 2026 sounds far away, but I now know enough to realize how the campaign flies by and how important these early months are.

The decisions his campaign will make in the next weeks will be very important to the outcome on Election Day next year, and I for one do not want the same close call we lived through in 2014.
