When I first ran for office, I promised to keep you informed and communicate openly about what I am doing as your Alderman. That is the point of this message.
CHARLIE KIRK BOULEVARD
Charlie Kirk was a one-of-a-kind individual who loved the Lord, stood firm in his beliefs, and showed us how to debate with conviction, respect, and peace.
This Tuesday Night, I will be proposing a motion at the Hernando Board of Aldermen meeting to honor Charlie’s legacy by renaming a city street here in Hernando after him.
Because of his love for debate in the public square, I will be suggesting streets like Center Street and Losher Street—both directly tied to our town square and civic life—as possible options.
But like Charlie would want, I want to hear from YOU. What street do you believe should carry his name in Hernando? Your feedback will help guide me as I bring this motion forward.
Hernando has the opportunity to be one of the first communities in the country, along with Florida and South Carolina, to permanently honor Charlie’s life and legacy. Let’s lead the way together.
