In 2017 (the very early days of uncovering the illegal corruption of the Crossfire Hurricane Russia hoax), in an open Intelligence Committee hearing, I asked Comey why he did not follow proper protocol and notify Congress about the opening of the counterintelligence investigation into then presidential candidate Donald Trump. He admitted he colluded to not inform Congress. This started the absolute unraveling of the illegal Russia hoax.
Since then, despite significant attempts by many to cover up this illegal weaponization, I have worked diligently to pass a law requiring Congressional oversight and accountability.
