Political violence in our country is on the rise.

We don’t say this to scare you, but because it’s an issue that we need to address.

What is more clear than ever is that we can’t continue to treat unhinged and violent political language as theater. Especially political language that looks like what we’re seeing from leaders like WI-03 Representative Derrick Van Orden. Take a look:

Van Orden is literally inviting a civil war.

We must swiftly condemn this violent and inflammatory language and bring about a return to civility that our democracy depends on.
