Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have lived it. For more than 800,000 years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm.

   Our Earth passed 350ppm CO2 during 1988!

Mauna Loa Observatory - We are now approaching 430ppm!
On many days we're up 1.6 to 2.5ppm from last year

Make Billionaires Pay
Saturday, September 20

12-1:30 CDT - 321 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha
10-11 CDT - Hill School Park, 762 West Grand Ave, Port Washington

TRUMP AND BILLIONAIRES ARE SETTING THE WORLD ON FIRE.

They’re dismantling our democracy, attacking immigrants, feeding the war profiteers, and fueling the climate crisis. Our communities face attack after attack– floods and fires fueled by Big Oil, ICE agenda kidnapping our neighbors, congress revoking our healthcare.

Trump and the billionaires are at the heart of it all and we’re fighting back.

On September 20th world leaders will be gathering in New York City for the UN General Assembly and Climate Week. This is a critical moment for us to show the world we are revolting against Trump and the Billionaire Class. Make Billionaires Pay is part of a series of international mobilizations for climate justice happening 9/19–9/21 entitled Draw the Line. Authoritarian regimes are on the rise but people are fighting back. We are uniting across the world to demand a better future for our communities and for all living beings.

We’re calling for non-violent protests across the US and a mass march in New York City. The Make Billionaires Pay march is one inflection point in an ever growing rebellion against fascist billionaires trying to take control of our government and extract as much profit for our communities as possible. We believe these protests need to be happening at an ever increasing rate and that these mass mobilizations should be the starting point for community organizing.

On this tour, you will gain a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of our food bank operations and learn innovative ways Solar energy helps us address hunger in our community.

SunDay is a global day of action on September 21st, 2025, celebrating the unstoppable rise of clean energy. We’ll come together to showcase the power of the sun and wind, the energy sources that can power our world without pollution.

Wisconsin Climate March
A Climate Week Event
Sunday, September 28, 12pm

UW Library Mall, 715 State St., Madison

Please join 350 Wisconsin, Elevate, the Sierra Club and a wide range of other organizations and communities for the Wisconsin Climate March on Sunday, September 28, in Madison!

Right now, climate and environmental protections are being dismantled, academic and scientific institutions are being undermined and defunded, and our democracy itself is being threatened. We need strong turnout to tell leaders and decision makers at every level: we demand bold, meaningful action now!

We have three central demands:

  1. Promote environmental justice and energy justice by ensuring that no new fossil fuel energy generation plants are created in Wisconsin.
  2. Support science and academic freedom, including increased investment in science and research at Wisconsin’s universities and institutions, plus respect for academic freedom and freedom of speech.
  3. Guarantee fair treatment and the rule of law for all! Restoration of the rule of law and democratic freedoms. No kings! No billionaires!

This will be the first large-scale climate-centric march in Wisconsin in the Trump 2.0 administration. It will be coming at the end of Climate Week, when world leaders convene in New York City to talk about climate. We’ll remind these world leaders that we’re watching: We’ll hold them to their promises and push them to be better.

No Kings Day
Saturday, October 19

Cathedral Square
520 E Wells St, Milwaukee

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

Where: Cathedral Square, Milwaukee
When: 11-2 CDT, October 18, 2025

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
