This Tuesday, September 16, is National Voter Registration Day — a nationwide effort to make sure everyone has the opportunity to participate in our elections. Across the country, communities are coming together to help neighbors get registered, check their status, and make a plan to vote. |
Find a voter registration event near you at our action center and join in on Tuesday.
Want to make an extra impact? Our partner, Field Team 6, specializes in voter registration, they know all the tricks of the trade, and they’re ready to put you to work! Sign up to join one of their drives and help register voters in your area like a pro!
If you can’t attend an event, here are other ways you can take part: |
- Share online: Post the link nass.org/can-I-vote so friends and family can check their registration status.

Reach out directly: Call or text three people you know to remind them to get registered.
- Volunteer virtually: Share graphics, links, and reminders on your social media, or join The Union’s online community to help spread the word nationally.
- Check your own registration: Even if you’ve voted before, it only takes a minute to confirm.
