Sign the Statement to Protect Kids from Radical Gender Ideology Policies
<[link removed]>
Dear Fellow American,
A fifth-grade girl traveled with her Colorado school on a field trip across
the country.
You can probably imagine how she must have felt in the days and weeks leading
up to the trip. Excited to spend a few days with her friends. Eager to visit a
new place. And, sure, a bit nervous—it's a big deal to stay overnight in a
place you've never been before, especially as an 11-year-old.
Now imagine how she felt when she found out—already hundreds of miles from
home and in her hotel room for the night—that she was supposed to share a bed
with a boy.
Shocked. Confused. Uncomfortable.
She slipped into the bathroom to call her mom, who was thankfully on the trip
with her. Her mom thought she must have misunderstood. She couldn't fathom that
the school assigned her daughter to room overnight with a boy.
But it wasn't a misunderstanding. It was school policy.
The policy says that students on overnight trips will be assigned rooms based
on their "gender identity," not on biology. And the school refuses to notify
parents or students of the policy, or if a student of the opposite sex is
assigned to the room.
That means a girl can be assigned to share a hotel room with a boy who
identifies as a girl, without mom and dad's—or the student's—knowledge or say.
How would you feel if this happened to your child or grandchild?
It shouldn't have to be said—but this is just WRONG.
It's common sense that girls and boys deserve to have their own private
spaces. And if that privacy could be infringed upon, parents need to know so
that they can make informed decisions for their children.
Families across the country are being harmed by policies like these. That's
why the Waileses, along with three other Colorado families, are pushing back in
a lawsuit—for their kids and many others like them.
Please raise your voice to say NO MORE to policies that deny truth and violate
parents' rights—and to protect kids from harmful policies that put gender
ideology above their comfort and privacy.
