I wanted to be sure you knew how thankful I am to have you with me on this journey. John, I’ll be honest, I was a little worried about hitting our grassroots goal yesterday. With everything going on in our nation, all the good opportunities to elect strong Democrats, and the strain politics is having on our day-to-day lives, I would absolutely have understood if we didn’t quite reach our goal. Then I saw the response to our last-minute request. Dozens of grassroots supporters stepping up to raise the last few thousand dollars $10, $25, and $50 at a time. It’s a powerful testament to the organization we’ve built on this campaign and I’m truly grateful to have you with me. This is no time to let up.
