John, my name is Dan Kleban. I'm a Maine small-business owner – and I'm officially launching my campaign to send Susan Collins packing and flip Maine's Senate seat blue.

When my brother and I started Maine Beer Company, we built our business on a motto: Do what's right. To us, that's always meant taking care of our employees, protecting the environment, and giving back to the community that gave us so much. Because that's what Maine values are all about.

But time and again, we've seen Susan Collins choose what's politically convenient over what's best for Mainers. She lied about protecting abortion rights. She refuses to stand up to Donald Trump when it matters. Somewhere in her three decades in Washington, she stopped looking out for us.

Maine needs a senator who will always do what's right – from standing up for working families to protecting Medicare – even when it's hard. And believe me when I tell you, winning this race won't be easy.

I'm not a career politician, and my campaign doesn't have millions in the bank. But at this moment, when our country is at a crossroads, I feel a responsibility to do what's right.
