I wasn’t supposed to make it — not out of the projects, not past the food bank
lines, and DEFINITELY not to Congress.









But I didn’t fold. I fought back.









I’m Lauren Peña — a Republican mom of four who’s lived the struggle, walked
through broken streets, and founded Peña Legal Advocacy to help families left
behind by the system.
