Janelle Bynum for Congress

Before I represented Oregon in Congress, I was a small business owner.

So I know firsthand the importance small businesses have in our communities – and I also know all about the challenges they face.

That’s why I’m working in Congress to make it easier for small businesses to get ahead and help our communities thrive.

Since taking office, I’ve worked to pass three bipartisan bills in the House which would support local businesses. This includes the ELEVATE Act which would cut through red tape that small businesses often face before they’ve even had a chance to get started.

And a few weeks ago, I hosted a roundtable to hear about the obstacles small businesses are facing and how I can help. This conversation highlighted the challenges these businesses face in getting off the ground and staying open, as well as the incredible opportunities they’re creating.

Now, I’m proud to be taking these insights back with me to Congress to continue pushing for the support our rural economies need and deserve.

Oregon wouldn’t be Oregon without our rural small businesses. They don’t just create jobs — they help build stronger, more resilient communities.

I’m committed to supporting these businesses and helping our communities thrive — and I’d appreciate your support to keep up this work. Please, pitch in to my campaign today to help me continue fighting for our small businesses and our local economies in Congress.
