In the 119th consecutive meeting of the International Peace
Coalition, Helga Zepp-LaRouche began by stating the obvious, that the
world is completely out of order. She then surveyed the strategic
situation: “We had the supposed Russian drone attack on Polish
territory, which some are calling the biggest incident since the
founding of NATO in 1949; we had the assassination of Charlie Kirk,
which clearly has far-reaching significance as a message to all
politicians in the United States and elsewhere; we had the Israeli
attack on Qatar; we had the destabilization of more countries, such as
Nepal and Serbia; we have threats against Brazil and Venezuela; we
have the French situation, which is close to ungovernability; and we
have the potential explosion of the everything bubble.”
The common denominator in all of these events that are taking place
is the new system emerging from Eurasia. The combined meetings of the
Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tianjin, China at the beginning
of September; the subsequent military parade in Beijing which
demonstrated the most advanced military technology ever in history;
and finally the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok have put on the
table a completely new system. Some may call these a “multipolar”
world that is emerging. However, as Russian President Vladimir Putin
once referred to it in a speech, we prefer to call it a polyphonic
system.
In reaction to this positive global development, a global ‘strategy
of tension’ is being deployed by the leaders of the Unipolar order, to
create conditions of chaos and ungovernability to save their bankrupt
order as it collapses.
It is our job to ascend from the maelstrom of extreme events taking
place. One must not look at the particulars of such events, or be
enchanted by the endless explanations being spun-out in the
blogosphere as to who was behind the assassination which took place in
Utah this week.
We will prosper only by thinking clearly. Harley Schlanger, TLO
spokesman, will present today’s program of the Manhattan Town Hall
meeting with that approach in mind.
