As you may have heard, California is preparing to redraw its congressional maps in response to Texas’ plot to add more GOP House seats to hold the House majority.
If Prop 50 passes this fall, George’s district could add thousands of new voters -- meaning we’ll be campaigning in brand-new areas and introducing George to communities he hasn’t represented before.
That’s a huge opportunity, but also poses a challenge.
We’ll need to expand our outreach and scale up our campaign virtually overnight to make sure our message reaches new voters who will be hearing from George for the very first time.That kind of rapid growth takes resources -- and we need to start preparing now.
This is the final FEC deadline before the new maps could take effect, and what we raise now will determine if we have the resources to meet the moment. Will you chip in $3 to make sure we’re ready?
