South Asia
Pray for a powerful formal launch event for IJM’s new anti-trafficking office in Bangladesh. Next week, we are excited to gather key government officials, local partners, survivor leaders and global experts for a one-day conference to officially kick-start our program protecting children from sex trafficking. Pray for safe travels for all our guests, wisdom for our speakers and excitement for all these partners who will help make freedom possible!
Africa & Europe
Praise God for the strong commitment of faith leaders across Uganda who are joining IJM’s Freedom Sunday campaign to speak out against violence and injustice. Join us in praying that this momentum continues throughout September and beyond, as churches, mosques and other places of worship boldly advocate for the protection of women and children. Pray that leaders will consistently use their influence to promote biblical justice and lasting change in their communities.
Latin America
Praise God for the opportunity to gather police representatives from across Peru for the country’s first national meeting focused on protecting families. We are grateful for the participation of over 60 officers committed to strengthening their response to violence against women and children. Join us in praying for our team as they finalize preparations and for the smooth execution of this important event, and that each officer will leave equipped and encouraged to enrich their work and bring hope to the families they serve.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for IJM Australia's bold advocacy and survivor-led efforts to hold tech companies accountable for failing to protect children from livestreamed sexual abuse. Pray for stronger legislation and urgent action from digital platforms to detect and disrupt this horrific exploitation. Ask God to continue empowering survivors and IJM as they lead the global fight to end online sexual exploitation of children.

Praise God for IJM’s quarterly prayer retreat this week, where staff gathered in Washington, D.C. to worship, learn and reconnect with one another.
