🚨Missouri legislature just passed its extreme gerrymander. Here’s how we’re fighting back:🚨
Team,
Missouri lawmakers just passed an extreme gerrymander — ramming through one of the most unfair congressional maps in the country, which will deprive both urban and rural communities of fair and effective representation in Congress.
Now, our movement must fight back with everything we’ve got. We have seen this movement step up to challenge extreme gerrymanders like this one in court, and we expect that fight to continue in Missouri.
And our work to mobilize voters is far from over, in Missouri and Texas, and whichever states this fight goes to next. If they’re going to continue to try to silence voters and predetermine next year’s election outcomes, we’re going to do everything we can to empower those voters to push back and to voice their dissent.
If it wasn’t clear already, what the Missouri legislature just did confirms that this mid-decade redistricting fight is only just beginning — and we need your help to rapidly ramp up our response. Can you rush a donation to support the critical work of defending our democracy? → [link removed]

The people of Missouri didn’t want this. In fact, some of the lawmakers who voted for this map today are on the record opposing it. The House Speaker Pro Tem even told reporters in July that this kind of mid-decade redraw “would be out of character with the way Missouri operates.” Two months later, he brought it to the floor for a vote.
Let’s be clear about why this is happening. Power-hungry politicians in Washington are demanding that states they control change the rules and suddenly redraw maps to steal more seats in Congress. In Missouri, just like in Texas, the state’s lawmakers went along with it — in the face of opposition from civil rights organizations, labor unions, business groups, and Missouri voters themselves.
We’ve entered a new era of the fight for fairness. It’s been just 15 days since Texas signed its own extreme gerrymander into law. These attacks on democracy are rapidly accelerating — and we must keep pace.
All On The Line is prepared to fight back on multiple fronts wherever necessary to stand up for the future of our democracy. But we can’t do it without supporters like you — so if you can, make a donation today. → [link removed]
Thank you for doing your part — it couldn’t be more important.
