partners from the Eastern Shoshone Tribe have narrowed the selection to three

These iconic animals once thundered across the Great Plains by the millions and
we believe in a future where bison once again roam freely. This calf represents
years of hard work and dedication with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe to reintroduce
buffalo back onto their native lands of Wyoming—after an absence of nearly 130
years.
