The Republican Party of Pennsylvania, along with the rest of America, is mourning the tragic loss of our friend Charlie Kirk. Charlie was a bold defender of conservative principles and a tireless advocate for our youth.
Many of us knew Charlie from the very beginning of Turning Point USA. From a young age, he set out on a mission to challenge the left-wing, and at times, Marxist rhetoric in colleges and change our culture – and he succeeded.
Charlie's voice was powerful.
He inspired countless young Americans to embrace truth, stand firm in their values, speak out without fear, and love God.
His murder is not only a tragedy for his family and friends, but a direct assault on the very principles of free speech and open debate that Charlie advocated for and that make America strong.
We condemn the violent rhetoric from the Left that fuels this kind of hatred and is too often amplified by the media.
This must end.
Our prayers are with Charlie’s beautiful family and all who loved him. His work will not be forgotten, and his example will continue to guide us as we fight for truth.
