*Update on Dan Thompson Award Notifications*

Round 3 Update:  

Thank you for all the interest in the DDCS Dan Thompson funding grant opportunity and for the time and effort you put into your applications. We received an incredible response— more than 150 applications totaling more than $28 million in requested funding. We were only allocated $2 million for this biennium’s project.  

Due to the volume and quality of applications, our review process is anticipated to take a bit longer than expected. We want to ensure each application receives the thoughtful consideration it deserves. As a result, notifications of award decisions will be extended beyond our original timeline, and notifications will now be sent on *Nov. 3, 2025*. Our goal continues to be contracts will begin in January 2026.  

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this process. We’ll be in touch as soon as final decisions are made.
