As a fourth-generation Texan raised by a remarkable community of people, I’ve always loved the idea of that. And one of my favorite parts about being on the campaign trail is all the friends I've made along the way – at rallies, town halls, and community events in every corner of this great state. These are folks who serve as teachers, nurses, farmers, and countless others whose work strengthens our communities. 

These are the kinds of folks powering this campaign. Not corporate PAC donors or faceless organizations with special-interest agendas.
