John, I want to take a minute to explain why September is so important for our campaign. 

Once the 30th rolls around, we’ll have to submit a report to the Federal Elections Commission detailing our grassroots support and how much we’ve raised during this fundraising quarter. 

It’s important for a lot of reasons, but most of all, it shows the momentum our campaign has as we inch closer and closer to 2026. 

This campaign means a lot to me. It’s about growing our economy, lowering healthcare costs, supporting public education, and bringing real accountability to Washington.

But right now, this fight is heating up. Not only am I one of the NRCC’s top targets this election cycle, Republicans have introduced a dangerous new element into the race: redistricting. They’re trying to draw me out of my seat and weaken our chances of taking back the House.

With three seats separating House control, Republicans are desperate to flip competitive seats like mine to cling onto the majority. That’s why we have to show, loud and clear, that we’re not backing down.

I’d love nothing more than for our report to reflect the support of thousands of grassroots supporters just like you who believe in this campaign and the future we’re fighting for. 

I’m not here to overwhelm you with fake deadlines or constant alarms — but we do have a real goal to meet, and your support could make all the difference. So please, if you can, pitch in today to help us take back the House and get our country back on track.
