The center of all we do should be centered around the people we seek to serve. Even if it means we make mistakes or sometimes commit missteps, we have to keep trying and iterating to present a viable and attractive alternative to fascism.

We are failing to deliver on our promises to the communities we have relied on to fuel electoral victories – the working class, immigrants, and people of color. That means we have to try something different and challenge the systems that block progress.

To win elections, we have to deliver wins for the people we ask to elect us.

Together, we can fight for things like affordable housing, better schools, and effective public services at the local level starting today. Call your State Rep, show up to a School Board Meeting, and give a voice to those not in the room.

One other thing you can do today to start fighting for real victories for the working class, immigrants, and people of color is support the organizations and candidates who are doing the work at every level today. In the last year, Speak Up PAC has donated to dozens of candidates and organizations who are in this fight.
