This should not be the norm, but it is. Every school year we’re bombarded
with school shootings from the beginning of the school year until the end.

Last year’s school year ended with a devastating shooting at Florida State
University. This year’s school year began with the just as horrific
shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.

The leading cause of death for children and teens is gun violence and it’s
completely avoidable.
