Protesters Storm Section of New York, Seek to Create Another CHAZ

Townhall’s Julio Ross is at CHAZ, NY and has been reporting on the anti-police insanity.  Caution:  Much of what he reports is vulgar.  In the videos, you can see the protesters clearly trying to agitate the policemen (Twitter).  A reporter from the Epoch Times is there, with video and a series of tweets (Twitter). Right on cue, de Blasio chops $1.5 billion from the NYPD budget (NY Post).

Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Taxpayer Funding for Religious Schools

From the story: In the 5-4 ruling, the court essentially backed a Montana tax-credit scholarship program that gave residents up to a $150 credit for donating to private scholarship organizations, helping students pay for their choice of private schools. The state’s revenue department made a rule banning those tax-credit scholarships from going to religious schools before the state’s supreme court later struck down the entire program (Fox News). From Donald Trump: Today’s SCOTUS ruling is a historic win for families who want SCHOOL CHOICE NOW! #SchoolChoice is a civil rights issue, and no parent should have to send their child to a failing school. I will continue to fight for School Choice and will always defend Religious Freedom! (Twitter).

Trump Administration to Protect Monuments on 4th of July

From the story: Rapid Deployment Teams (RDTs) from the Protecting American Communities Task Force (PACT), and consisting of law enforcement officers specially trained in areas such as crowd control and riot control, will be dispatched to Portland, Seattle and Washington D.C. Additional RDTs will be dispatched regionally so that they can be flown into any other area within a few hours should unrest spark up in other cities across the U.S. (Fox News). The Boston Art Commission voted to remove the Emancipation Memorial (Boston News).

FCC Designates Chinese Companies as “Posing National Security Threat”

From the story: “With today’s Orders, and based on the overwhelming weight of evidence, the Bureau has designated Huawei and ZTE as national security risks to America’s communications networks — and to our 5G future,” FCC Chairman Ajit Pai said in a statement. “Both companies have close ties to the Chinese Communist Party and China’s military apparatus, and both companies are broadly subject to Chinese law obligating them to cooperate with the country’s intelligence services.”

Seattle Mayor Shocked as CHOP Protesters Find Her Home

And the liberal mayor was particularly upset that a city councilwoman joined the protest (Washington Examiner).  From Andy Ngo: I hope the public doesn’t forget the corporate support CHAZ received from the likes of @benandjerrys & others. They provided material aid, drawing even more to the criminal occupation. Occupiers stayed because of the steady supply of free food (Twitter). As soon as crews began removing barricades, the leftists desperately worked to erect new walls (Fox News).  From Byron York: The block party continues… (Twitter).

China Enacts Laws Crushing Democracy

From Andrew McCarthy: Under the guise of protecting “national security,” the new law criminalizes as “subversion” and “terrorism” various expressions of protest and political dissent. It further endeavors to cut off Hong Kong’s support lines by criminalizing, as conspiracy to endanger national security, sundry exchanges with other countries and outside groups (National Review). Meanwhile from a New York Times reporter: Adam Silver on the NBA’s relationship with China – says he feels it has improved. “…they have a different view how things have been done, how things should be done. And hopefully, we can find mutual respect for each other” (Twitter).
