Two years have gone by and she’s never mentioned 9/11 again - no tweets, no statements, nothing.
John,
In 2023, Boebert posted this 9/11 tribute: “In my heart, I carry the memories of those we lost, the heroes who emerged, and the strength of a nation. We will never forget.”
Two years have gone by and she’s never mentioned 9/11 again - no tweets, no statements, nothing. Why is that?
Shortly after making that 2023 post she was dragged by the media, her constituents, and by the 9/11 victim families for being one of only 30 House Republicans who voted against the Fairness for 9/11 Families Act— a bill to provide long-overdue aid to the families who lost loved ones in the attacks.
Let’s be clear: what she did was nothing short of a middle finger to the 9/11 families.
She says “never forget” when it will get her likes and retweets, but when it mattered most, she turned her back on the families whose lives were torn apart. It’s part of a pattern. She voted against cancer care for veterans exposed to toxins during war.
That’s not leadership. That’s hypocrisy. And it’s exactly why she doesn’t deserve to represent Colorado in Congress.
I’m the Democrat running to unseat her and I will always put people before politics. I will stand with families in their hardest moments, and put working class heroes over Boebert’s billionaire donors.
