Become a Writer...

We are working in partnership with Writing East Midlands to bring Nottingham City residents the opportunity to take part in creative writing courses. We are able to offer these FREE online courses thanks to Arts Council funding.

There are two different online courses on offer and places are offered on a first come first served basis with priority booking for Nottingham city residents up until 3 July. Do not delay in booking your place as we expect these to be popular.

The Write Space Writing for Wellbeing with Cathy Grindrod

Life can be overwhelmingly busy, noisy and crowded. This series of practical online writing sessions is for anyone that would like to regularly escape to a calm space for a while to connect with themselves and their creativity, to gain some insight and clarity about life and to enjoy writing and wordplay as a route to living and feeling well.

You will be free to write in whatever way works best for you, and given supportive guided exercises and a monthly writing suggestion to take away. You will have the freedom to share your writing or to keep it private, and will benefit from the supportive connection of fellow participants.
