Sign up to join the nationwide protest on October 18. Indivisibles,
No Kings Day is coming on October 18, and we already have more than 500 nonviolent protests on our nationwide map -- with more being added every day! Here’s where to find No Kings events near you.
The first No Kings Day, on June 14, was one of the largest days of peaceful protest in US history. Millions of people, in thousands of places, peacefully took to the streets with one voice to say: No thrones. No crowns. NO KINGS.
At a time when Americans everywhere needed courage, we showed it. In a moment that so many people felt alone, we reminded them there are millions of us banding together to save our democracy. And on a day Trump wanted to feel strong, we made the story about the people’s power, instead.
But Trump keeps doubling down -- stoking division and anger, building a secret police force, sending the military into our streets, trying to rig the midterms, and suggesting (twice) that “maybe we’d like a dictator.” That’s not the behavior of the president. That’s the behavior of a wannabe-king.
It’s time to remind Trump that this is America. And in America, we don’t do kings.
Let’s make the second No Kings Day even bigger, bolder, and more unforgettable than the first! Click here to see the map and join a nonviolent protest near you on October 18.
The president thinks his rule is absolute, but in America, we will never bow down to chaos, corruption, and cruelty. On the next No Kings Day, we’ll show up stronger and more organized than ever before.
See you there on October 18.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
P.S. If you don’t see any events near you yet, please check back soon! New events are added each week, and we’re working hard to organize events accessible to every community. If you’d like, you can register your own event here.
P.P.S. We need your help making October 18 the biggest day of mass action against the Trump regime yet! Please forward this email to anyone who may like to join us in peaceful protest.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
