SIGN OUR PETITION - END ANIMAL CIRCUSES ([link removed])
Dear John,
The Wild Animals in Circuses Act of 2019 banned travelling circuses from using wild animals. But they failed to protect animals classed as domesticated from facing the same cruel fate.
Since the ban, we have continued to investigate circuses and in 2024 we released the report Lives Left Behind ([link removed]) . Evidence of stress, fear, and even injury was seen by investigators to animals such as horses, ponies, donkeys, dogs, cats and birds. We will continue to keep the pressure on authorities to bring an end to the use of animals in circuses.
We know that you stand with us against this cruelty and want to bring an end to this exploitation for good.
There are two things you can do to help today:
1. Take action - sign our petition ([link removed]) to end the cruelty of circuses
2. Report a circus near you - if you have an animal circus visiting your area let us know. Use our form ([link removed]) so we can keep track of where they are visiting this year
REPORT A CIRCUS USING ANIMALS NEAR YOU ([link removed])
We would also like to extend a huge thank you the hundreds of you who responded to our last call to action against mobile zoos.
Everything you do to support our work is noticed and appreciated, at Freedom for Animals we work hard to bring awareness to the suffering of animals and your unwavering support keeps us going!
On behalf of the whole team and all the animals you have helped, thank you.
Until all are free,
Laura Walton
