New data shows that President Trump’s tariff war is having devastating impacts on our economy.
In August, the unemployment rate rose to the highest level since 2021. Worse still, revised numbers for June show our economy actually LOST jobs for the first time since December of 2020 when the pandemic was raging.
This is what happens when you put billionaires over working families.
It feels like President Trump is doing everything he can to hurt the middle class. He’s making the biggest cut to health care in American history. He’s causing chaos and harming our relationships with our allies with his tariffs. He’s firing federal workers and tearing up union agreements.
This country was built by working families.
We need to get back to investing in them.
