John — I’ve heard from a lot of Texans this summer. And after a great deal of reflection and prayer, I’ve made a decision:
I’m running for the U.S. Senate.
I’m asking you to make one of the first donations to my campaign. Split it between my campaign and Fight for Progress. This is a massive undertaking, and it would mean the world to me to know you have my back.

Right now, there’s something broken in America. Our economy is broken. Our politics are broken. Even our relationships with each other feel broken.
That’s because the most powerful people in the world want it that way.
The biggest divide in America is not left versus right — it’s top versus bottom.
Billionaires want us looking left and right at each other instead of looking up at them.
The people at the top work so hard to keep us angry and divided because our unity is a threat to their wealth and power. So their cable news networks and their social media algorithms tear us apart.
They divide us by party, by race, by gender, by religion so we don’t notice they’re defunding our schools, gutting our healthcare, and cutting taxes for themselves and their rich friends.
It’s the oldest strategy in the world: divide and conquer. But we will not be conquered.
The fight ahead will not be easy. We’re the underdogs.
We’re going up against these billionaire mega-donors and their puppet politicians. We’re going up against a rigged system. And we’re going up against a lot of money.
But I’m a former middle school teacher — I don’t scare easily. And Texans don’t scare easily.
Big Money is powerful, but it's nothing compared to people power.
That’s why this is going to be a campaign fueled by people like you. I’ve never taken a dime of corporate PAC money, and I refuse to start now. So I need you with me.
Please split a contribution between my campaign for the U.S. Senate and Fight for Progress today to become a Founding Donor. We need as many people as possible chipping in on day one to prove our movement is strong enough.

We're going to make history, and we're going to do it together.
Let’s go.
