The Eden-Monaro by-election is just three days away.
I want to thank every single Labor supporter who has backed our campaign by making a donation, calling voters, or staffing pre-poll.
This morning the Liberal Party is bragging that it is within striking distance of a once-in-a-hundred-years victory.
And from tonight, we won’t be able to run any more TV or radio ads.
The broadcast advertising blackout begins at midnight, but Labor can still run digital ads to support Kristy McBain right up until polls close.
We can’t leave anything to chance when it comes to this by-election.
The people of Eden-Monaro deserve a strong local voice in Canberra, and Kristy McBain will be that voice.
Throughout this campaign we’ve asked a lot of supporters like you, but today I am making a final call for support.
So John, can you contribute with a much needed final donation? Whether it’s $5 or $50, each dollar will help us reach more undecided voters before they vote.
Kristy McBain is one of the best candidates I’ve seen Labor put forward, and she will be an exceptional contributor in the Parliament if she’s elected by the people of Eden-Monaro on Saturday.
We’re close, but we’re not there yet.
With your help, we will keep campaigning through the broadcast blackout with digital ads about Kristy’s plans and the Liberals’ cuts to the ABC.
