From time to time we ask you to chip in $10 or some other amount to support Ilhan Omar’s campaign for reelection.

But you may wonder, what really happens to my $10 after I donate? What is that $10 for?

Well, our campaign believes in full transparency, so we want to pull back the curtain and tell you exactly what your $10 pays for:

Campaign staff who will work tirelessly over the next year to organize in our district and coordinate this campaign.
Paid canvassers and volunteers who will knock doors, make phone calls, and show up for our campaign at community events.
Mail pieces that outline Ilhan’s accomplishments and vision for the future that we can send to the mailboxes of every voter in MN-05.
Television ads and digital ads on platforms like Facebook and Youtube that spread Ilhan’s message far and wide.
Operational expenses like transportation, lodging, and office space, as well as things like bumper stickers and yard signs.
All of these things help Ilhan win, and all of them are funded by grassroots donations from people like you, Simran, chipping in $10 at a time.

Really! We don’t ask billionaires to buy us a spot for a TV ad. We don’t get Super PACs to send mail pieces out into the district.

So, we’re hoping that by explaining how this campaign works, we can convince you to chip in $10 or whatever you can afford today. What do you say?
