Yesterday, Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at an event at Utah Valley
University.

What will it take to end this epidemic of gun violence in America?

This is not about ideology or politics, this is about safety. It’s not
about if we solve the problems, it’s about when.

We have the solutions: stronger background checks, extreme risk protection
orders, accountability for the gun industry, and more.

What stands in the way is not a lack of answers, but political
obstruction. Every day of inaction costs lives.

It’s far past time we call on leaders of every party to choose people over
politics and act.
