When I think back to my summer as an OCA intern in 2015, what stands out most isn’t just the skills I gained, but the people I met and the community I found. That experience gave me mentors who believed in me and showed me how my story could be part of something bigger.
Today, I feel a deep responsibility to give back and invest in the next generation of AANHPI leaders, just as others once invested in me. My internship showed me that real change begins with connection, and that when we lift each other up, our shared experiences can grow into collective action for justice, equity, and access. That is why I've returned to be on the board, because I believe in OCA’s commitment to building our future.
