Yesterday was a day the United States will never forget.

My friend, mentor, and American visionary, Charlie Kirk, was killed in cold blood.

There are no words to describe the horrific, vile actions by a deranged lunatic that took place yesterday.

Instead of writing to you about the tragedy... I want to talk about my fondest memories of working alongside Charlie Kirk in the fight for truth, liberty, and freedom.

In 2016, I was CEO at Young Americans for Liberty. This is how I met many of you that I'm emailing today. A liberty-leaning youth org that was focused on knocking doors to elect liberty candidates to state office. Running YAL is also how I met Charlie for the first time... partnering with him to see both Turning Point and YAL succeed.

You see, working in the activist space... you come across lots and lots of fluff. Grifters who want to raise money from donors and then don't do any real work.

Turning Point was the opposite of that. Every single event I would go to, whether I was hosting or speaking, there would always be a TPUSA presence. I knew that Charlie was the real deal.

My opinion of him only grew from there as Turning Point was growing and growing into a powerhouse org that was changing the minds of America's youth.

In 2021, radical feminists came for my head.

Charlie was one of the first phone calls I got. I'll never forget the words he said to me: "Cliff, they do this to me once a month. Just don't engage with them, power on, and do the work."

Charlie was right. It was the best advice I'd gotten. I powered on and launched Citizens Alliance to focus on creating a real liberty state in Pennsylvania, Idaho, New Hampshire, and North Dakota.

Charlie stood by me. He offered feedback on my strategic plan. He was always willing to lend a hand to other warriors in the fight because he saw the big picture. He knew that if I was succeeding... he was succeeding.

To this day, a large portion of the DOOR KNOCKERS that we hire at Citizens Alliance come from the Turning Point activist pipeline. I would say we've hired over 1,000 door knockers that can be credited to the Turning Point team.

Now comes 2024... where my relationship with Charlie really escalated.

Many of you know the story of Turning Point Action focusing on Arizona and Wisconsin for their extensive Chase the Vote program to support Trump. They were all in.

Citizens Alliance was tapped to be the ALL IN organization for PA.

This is when we launched the PA CHASE... with encouragement from Charlie and his entire team to knock 500,000 doors in PA... and bring Trump's mail-in share to 33% against Kamala.

Charlie would regularly bring me on his show to discuss our strategy and the progress we were making. So while he's got to raise millions for Arizona and Wisconsin... he's urging his viewers to chip in money to Citizens Alliance for the PA CHASE program.

I know it might not seem like much... but NO ONE does that.

That's the kind of guy Charlie was... big picture... always... never retreat... always on offense... TO WIN.

We shared notes throughout the entire 2024 election regularly. He would drill me about the numbers in PA and ask questions about county targeting... the mail-in request numbers... and of course the mail-in return numbers.

On Election Day, I was on Steve Bannon's show, and after I wrapped my interview... Charlie asked me to do his election night livestream.

I said "yes"... but he shot back with "I need you on because if they call North Carolina and Georgia... PA will deliver the White House."

Little did I know that I was agreeing to go on a livestream that would be watched by millions (hundreds of millions if you count all of the viral clips) and change my life.

Many of you remember the viral moment of me calling PA and then Erika rushing in to hug Charlie as he is speechless and in tears.

Everyone in the room was laser focused on Charlie and Erika's moment... but I was remote at our Citizens Alliance HQ in PA... so I filled the air with "Remember where you were..."

Charlie and the team later referred to me as the "Al Michaels of politics" (that's a football announcer for all of you non-sports fans).

It all culminated at the Turning Point Mar-A-Lago gala, where Charlie continuously thanked me and the team for helping deliver PA.

The crew even got a post-event photo onstage... a night I won't soon forget.

I could go on and on about countless experiences with Charlie and how much I looked up to him.

He was an American titan who cannot and will not be replaced.

He was a fantastic husband, loving father, and a man who said what he believed and believed what he said.

I’m writing this to share the impact Charlie Kirk has had on my life and to give you a peek into who he was behind the curtain.

He was the same guy onscreen as he was off... such a rarity in the political world.
